We need a good tree pruner for a 100+ yrs old oak. The tree is on our neighbour’s property, a few feet from the fence.
Can you suggest a pruning company.

For specific references, I suggest you ask a neighbour or look around your area for arborist activity. You want a certified arborist with insurance. Unfortunately, the oak disease, called oak wilt, has recently entered Ontario. It would be wise to dialogue with the arborist you choose to determine if pruning would put the oak at risk for this deadly pathogen: Oak Wilt
